The words “father” and “children” are two sides of the same coin.

“When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son who was just like him, his very spirit and image, and named him Seth.” (Genesis 5:3-5) DNA, found in every cell of your body, is the chemical blueprint that defines you as a unique person. The code came from your mother and father. Like Seth, you bear the family likeness of your parents.

This fact is rooted in the Creator’s design of humankind. The FATHER  deposited His DNA, His genetic blueprint, in Adam and Eve’s spirit. “God spoke: ‘Let us make human beings …  reflecting our nature.”  (Genesis 1:27)  FATHER wanted a FAMILY … daughters and sons, that reflected His character. “At the core of our being, each one of us has the identity of being a child of God, made in his image and likeness.”(Our Sunday Visitor)
